"We Walked"
The table of hiking memories. Oak leaves and a faithful dog’s paw prints adorn the table, along with
an old photo of a parent and child disappearing into the distance on a long wilderness walk with their pets.
Completed with “Bean-style” boots and a walnut frame.
The poem reads:
“We walked hand in hand, and a faithful, wagging friend
At our side with room to roam,
An endless path to the wilds of nowhere, and nothing calling us back
But the welcoming hands of home.”
